• Review of "Noah's Ark Learning Center Inc" at Huntingtown

  We moved to Huntingtown, MD a little over a year ago and immediately fell in love with Noah's Ark Learning Center. Their farmhouse-homey environment was very welcoming. Our little one loves everything about Noah's Ark. He's made sweet friends and has adoring teachers who spend their days giving him and his peers the education, love and care I want him to have while I'm at work. The Director, Toni, and her staff are the most wonderful and awesome people. They are caring, cordial and just plain good folks. Their learning environment is friendly and warm. As our little one goes from a "Bear" to a "School-Ager" (he's going to Kindergarten this Fall) he will continue at Noah's Ark as they prepare him to be successful in school and in life. A few months ago, our older son was hospitalized. The Bears class made him a card and all the little ones wrote their names on the card. It put a smile on his face and warmed my heart so much. This gesture just shows exactly what they are teaching at the Learning Center. I just love it there and I would recommend Noah's Ark to anyone who is moving to the area or who is preparing to expand their family.

  The Tidewater school has allowed our children to foster a real love of learning; as respected members of a community students are able to be curious and learn how to answer their questions, thus becoming critical thinkers. In addition to the curriculum being engaging, creative, and fun, the staff is incredibly supportive and knowledgeable.

  There are not enough words to describe how incredible the staff is at Smart Start. They are very attentive to the needs of every child and they are always so welcoming and friendly. My son loves to go to daycare, which eases my mind as a working mom. My son has grown so much and is learning rapidly and I can't help but thank these wonderful ladies for their continued support and love. We consider you all family and we are blessed to have you! • Review of "Tidewater School" at Huntingtown

  My husband and I were so happy to have our son in the full day primary classroom for two years at Tidewater. I’ve never seen a school truly live and breathe their philosophy. The School truly brings life to learning! The director, Laura Amin, has a deep understanding of child development and such a positive attitude that it truly is felt across the staff and school. She balances her high expectations of the students and teachers with a calm and empathetic tone. The teachers and staff make Tidewater feel like a second home to our family. Our son looked forward to going to school, every day. The classroom was tailored to meet all the children’s needs and developmental levels. Learning was hands on! Children learned from unique experiences, field trips and activities. Students learned how to work cooperatively as well as independently. They develop life skills, a love for learning and a knowledge base that has prepared our son well beyond his years. Our 5 year old entered kindergarten with the ability to hold a conversation about different countries and cultures as well the independence to read to his younger brother. This school is a rare gem.
